You get what you pay for and more. Clean enough. Not the comfiest seats but for 6$ I take it. Love their nachos with jalapenos. Friendly and approachable staff. Enough parking space. Not alot of people come here anymore (which is why my husband and I love this place) unless a blockbuster movie is showing. Overall, great place for the price you pay.
Decent prices for movies. They have senior prices. New ownership in the last year. Building could use a little sprucing up. It is clean and serviceable.
The staff are always Pleasant and accommodating and are eager to serve instead of you serving them. The theater is very clean and they always have some type of food special behind the counter. So you can have expensive if you want because there's plenty of that at all movie theaters, before example, they offer a hot dog for a dollar. Sometimes that all you can afford after you've spent $8 for a soda! But it all works.
The interior of this place reminds me of a theater on the verge of close. There were plenty of box offices, but they were all closed. Only the two concession stand workers were able to print out tickets and they were servicing groups at a time. The tickets were cheap, but the concessions were terrible. I had mini donuts and the first three were molten hot rocks, the rest were stale and cold. The bathrooms look beat up and the seats are minimally comfortable. If you are looking for cheap tickets, especially for families then I would go to $5 Tuesdays at the Oakdale Marcus Theater.
Despite no longer being branded as the 'Carmike 20' and bought out, not much has changed and in fact it's gone downhill since then. The theater looks dated inside and out, rusting and bathrooms almost feel scary to use because they're just that old and dirty. Speaking of which, the cleanliness here has definitely gone down. Definitely varies with visit.I'm only giving three stars because they're competitively priced with other theaters and if you go during matinee hours you'll be spending less on tickets than you would on snacks/drinks.
